Staff Writers

Responsible for creating written content for Lotus Magazine's quarterly issues that aligns with our brand, voice, and objectives. We are looking for writers who are interested in areas of culture, media/entertainment, identity, lifestyle, or prose and opinion. Please let us know when applying what kinds of articles you are interested in writing. (Est. weekly time commitment: 5-10 hours)

Tasks:

• Research topics and generate article ideas that align with quarterly issues themes

• Write and edit content for each issue

• Ensure content is engaging and informative 

• Adhere to deadlines and manage multiple writing projects at once

• Fact-check and proofread content before submission

Skills Needed:

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

• Ability to conduct in-depth research or interviews on various topics

• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality writing

• Time management and ability to meet deadlines

• Creativity and the ability to adapt to different writing styles
