We hope to empower and uplift Asian-American voices.
We envision Lotus Magazine to serve as a platform dedicated to amplifying the voices of the Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) community. In our lifestyle magazine curated for the modern AAPI person, we collect and share diverse stories and perspectives aimed at empowering, inspiring, and promoting visibility within and for our community. Let’s make some noise together!
Lotus Magazine is committed to embracing the rich diversity within the AAPI community while maintaining a special focus on uplifting the voices of AAPI womxn. While broadening our scope, Lotus Magazine remains a space where the unique experiences of AAPI womxn are celebrated and we reaffirm our dedication to showcasing their strength, resilience, and achievements. We are excited to embark on this journey of increased inclusivity, welcoming all AAPI individuals, while ensuring AAPI womxn continue to be a vital part of our mission.
Our goal is to share the experiences and ideas of the community, including those who may have been overlooked, misunderstood, or even forgotten. Together, we can reclaim and reshape our narratives to authentically represent and share the experience of identifying as “Asian American & Pacific Islander”. We see you, we hear you, and we stand in solidarity with you.
Readers, no matter who you are: we welcome you into our space with open arms. This is a space for mutual learning and understanding, and we are confident you will discover something meaningful here.
