Social Media Manager
Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and online presence. This role involves overseeing content creation, monitoring trends, and analyzing social media performance. (Est. weekly time commitment: 5-10 hours)
Tasks:
Develop and implement social media strategies and campaigns
Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.)
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content (posts, stories, videos/reels) in alignment with issue content, events, etc.
Monitor and respond to audience comments and messages
Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns
Stay up-to-date with social media trends, tools, and best practices
Report on social media performance and adjust strategies accordingly
Skills Needed:
Strong understanding of social media platforms
Excellent writing and communication skills
Experience with social media management preferred
Ability to analyze and interpret social media analytics
Time management and ability to meet deadlines
Basic graphic design knowledge (Canva or Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop preferred)
